OUR WORK
Open data for a better world
Every day people around the world use our free resources to track legislation, research and engage their legislators, and stay informed on the legislative process in their communities. We continue to expand our free offerings and launch innovative democracy tools and data for communities.
In the United States
Over 1 million people have used our free data and tools to track legislation, identify their lawmakers, and build.
In Nigeria
We've ingested and distributed over 300,000 bills and provided easy and simple access to legislation coming out of the Nigerian National Assembly.
Supporting civic engagement & our future policy scholars
We encourage the integration of digital technologies into all aspects of public sector operations in order to change how government services are delivered, how agencies interact with constituents, and how public sector work is conducted. By strategically embracing technology, we can help create better solutions for society’s challenges.
Embracing digital transformation of governance
We’re on a mission to improve civic engagement by providing data and tools to help the public understand the legislative process that creates public policy. We aim to serve members of the public, activist groups, journalists, and researchers with better data on policy-making, and to provide tools to reduce barriers to democratic participation.
